The body of the missing university student is found.

On the 18th, the Peradeniya Police received a complaint that a student who was studying at the University of Peradeniya has gone
missing.

The Peradeniya Police, who are conducting further investigations into the incident, found the body of the student in the Mahaweli River in the Peradeniya area yesterday evening based on information received.

The concerned student has been studying in the fourth year of Peradeniya University.

The deceased was a 24-year-old resident of Yakkala area.
