Royal Tomb to be opened after 20 years

The late Queen Elizabeth II's funeral ceremony will be held today (19) at St. George's Church in Westminster Castle at 4.00 pm local
time or 9.00 pm Sri Lanka time.

It is special that the royal tombs are opened after 20 years. The remains of Queen Elizabeth II's father, King George VI, and the

Queen Mother are also buried in the same royal mausoleum.

Accordingly, the body of Queen Elizabeth will also be buried nearby.
