A great victory for Sri Lanka against India in the Asian Cup.

The Sri Lankan team won yesterday's match with the Indian team in the Super Four round of the Asian Cup by 6 wickets.

The captain of the Sri Lankan team won the toss and gave the opportunity to the Indian team to bat first. At the end of the scheduled 20 overs, the Indian team scored 173 runs losing 8 wickets.

While bowling for the Sri Lankan team, Dilshan Madhushanka took 3 wickets while Chamika Karunaratne and captain Dasun Shanaka took 2 wickets each.

Accordingly, Kusal Mendis and Pathum Nissanka entered the field to chase the target of 174 runs, Kusal scored 57 runs, Pathum Nishanka scored 52 runs and captain Dasun Shanaka scored 33 runs unbeaten.
