A 16-year-old girl killed in wild elephant attack.

A 16-year-old student named Anuttara Indunil of Hasalaka, Gangayaya, 5 Canal area, lost her life in an elephant attack. She is ready to face the practical tests of this year's general examination today.

She was attacked by wild elephants while going to the temple with her parents to take alms for her brother who died by suicide 14 days ago.

The villagers say that if a proper solution is not given to the threat of wild elephants, it will not be possible to prevent the loss of more precious lives.
