Weather conditions in the island today

The Department of Meteorology says that there may be some rain in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts.

A few showers may occur in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
