Cash donation to Nethmi from Sports Minister

The Sports Minister had visited the home of 18-year-old Nethmi Ahimsage, who won a bronze medal in the women's wrestling event at the 22nd Commonwealth Games, in Velpalla, Kurunegala.

On the 13th, along with the Sports Minister, the officers of the Sri Lanka Wrestling Association also came there. The Sports Minister made a monetary donation to Nethmi, her coach, and two other athletes.

The sports minister who spoke there said that we congratulate the coach and the children for showing the inborn talent of those children to the country and the world. As a country, we should be proud.
