How daily power cuts happen

The Ministry has decided to release the South and Ella tourist zones from the night power cut in the first of December.

Until December 15, there will be a power cut for 1 hour and 20 minutes in the Daytime and night in other zones of the island.

The minister said that after December 15, there will be no night power cuts for all tourist zones identified by the Ministry of Tourism.

For the rest of the island, the night power cut time will be reduced to one hour and there will be no power cut on Christmas and New Year days.
