A three-wheeler collides with a train after breaking the railway gate

A three-wheeler collided with a train at the Heantiya railway crossing near Ahungalla, Balapitiya railway station early this morning (17).

It is said that a three-wheeler driving towards Hinatia broke through the closed railway gate and collided with a train transporting fuel to Galle.

The 40-year-old three-wheeler driver, who was seriously injured in the accident, died on the spot.
