A shooting attack in Ahungalla town.

Yesterday, there was a shooting in front of a hotel in Ahungalla town, and the person concerned was injured and admitted to Balapitiya Hospital for treatment.

Later, the STF officers arrested the suspect, and when they took him to search for the firearm used in the crime, thesuspect shot at the STF officers and tried to run away.

It is further reported that the suspect was shot dead by the STF officers.
