Another case of large-scale financial fraud is caught in Elpitiya.

In an investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department, another woman has been arrested for committing a
financial fraud amounting to crores of rupees.

The 34-year-old woman who was arrested is a resident of Elpitiya. Preliminary investigations have revealed that more than 05 crores of rupees have been defrauded.

She was presented to the Mahara Court and will be remanded until the 8th of the following court orders.
