The Totlaga fire damaged 80 houses

80 houses have been damaged due to the spread of the fire that broke out in the housing complex of Kajimawatta, Totalaga last night.The Police Media Division stated that 220 people have been affected due to this.

12 fire engines were deployed to fight the fire and with the help of the local residents, the fire was fully extinguished.

The displaced people are temporarily parked at Kelanindi temple and Mudoora Uyana Community Hall. President Ranil Wickramasinghe has given instructions to provide necessary relief to the affected people.
